These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Liveline platform and SMS-based services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Liveline ("Liveline," "we," "our," or "us"). By texting our number or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Liveline. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.
You must be a human individual — accounts registered by bots or automated means are prohibited. You must provide accurate information during onboarding. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Liveline is an SMS-based social discovery platform that uses artificial intelligence to guide onboarding and facilitate matching. The Service allows users to:
The Service is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
By texting Liveline, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS messages from us, including but not limited to: onboarding messages, intro video links, match notifications, and service updates. This consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates charged by your carrier may apply.
To opt out, reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation. Reply HELP for help or contact us at hello@liveline.live.
Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any content you submit.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards and to terminate accounts responsible for such content, without notice and at our sole discretion.
Your real phone number is never shared with other users by default. When matched, users connect via Daily.co audio or video calls — no phone numbers are involved or exposed during calls. You may choose to exchange real phone numbers with a match by texting SHARE during an active connection. Once phone numbers are exchanged, that exchange is outside the scope of the Service and these Terms.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You retain ownership of any content you create, including your intro video. By submitting content to the Service, you grant Liveline a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service. This license terminates when your content is deleted per our retention policy.
All other aspects of the Service, including software, design, and trademarks, are owned by Liveline and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our written permission.
You may stop using the Service at any time by replying STOP to any message. This will deactivate your queue participation and stop all outbound messages.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, disclaimers, and dispute resolution) will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LIVELINE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Liveline does not conduct background checks on users. We are not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the Service. Meeting other users in person or engaging in communication outside the Service is done at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LIVELINE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL LIVELINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Liveline and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any content you submit to the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Liveline operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body under its then-current rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. Each party shall bear its own costs. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Liveline regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
